Deep work compounds. Every focused block you put in, an input, gets banked into the vault, permanently. The total only moves one direction. The ledger's job is to make your effort visible, countable, and irreversible.
THE THREE MODES
One pill at the top switches between them. Ledger is your whole account: where you capture, and where your history and data live. Projects scopes that same record to one venture. Chat talks to your ledger. Inside a project, the corner arrow or tapping Projects again returns to the index.
CAPTURE
Two ways in, the New Input button inside TODAY or the + in the corner: a Timer commits to a length up front and banks itself when the clock rings; a Stopwatch is open-ended, and you ring the bell by stopping. To record work you already finished, use Log past work. Inputs are for today: the ledger is for banking as you go, not reconstructing a day at its end. Choosing a project is a deliberate act each time; every input starts unattached.
INPUT MODE
While an input runs, the app locks to the clock. The dashboard disappears, and the only exits are banking the time or abandoning it. During committed time, the app is the input.
BANKING
When the clock rings or you stop, the input is saved instantly. Then the same screen asks two optional questions: a link to what you built, and a note on what happened. Press Bank input and watch the vault count it in. The receipt shows your deposit, your lifetime total, and how this week stands against last.
INPUT NAMES
Every input is named for what you worked on: the product, the book, the campaign, or a review, a plan, a cleared queue. Reuse the exact name each time. That name is the key every chart, history group, and suggestion matches on, so "the campaign" and "campaign" would split one line into two. The field remembers what you have banked, so reuse is a tap.
THE VAULT
Your lifetime total, glowing, and it only goes up. Tap the tally mark in the top-left corner to summon it full-screen, from the Ledger or the Projects index. Tap the vault (hover on desktop) to flip it: first deposit, daily yield, largest deposit, and when the next permanent mark (25h, 50h, 100h...) falls at your current pace.
TODAY
One tally stroke per banked input, today's inputs listed, and three numbers: input count, time banked, and vs 7-day avg: your total measured against where you usually are by this time of day. Green means you're ahead of your own recent self, right now.
THE DATA
Four views: Week and Month for rhythm, Grid for the long pattern, Curve for the compounding line, which you can scrub to read the total at any point. Tap any day for its full detail. Expand a view fullscreen (⤢) to reorder the tabs; the first becomes your default. Beneath it, Vitals reads the verdict. Every number names its own basis: nothing lies about the days it divides by, and a new account says plainly what is locked and when it unlocks.
PROJECTS
A project scopes the ledger to one venture, with its own history, data, chats, and knowledge. Its goal locks when you set it: to change it you retire it with a one-line reason and name the successor, and the retirement joins the record. Milestones mark what the work earned; they live inside the day they happened, under a gold star. Deleting a project is permanent: its milestones, goal history, chats, and knowledge go with it, but its inputs survive, now with no project.
CHAT
Chat talks to your ledger. A whole-ledger chat reads everything you have banked; a project-scoped chat reads only that venture, plus its knowledge docs: specs, briefs, and drafts you paste, speak, or drop into the project's brain. The model is chosen per chat and locks at the first message; starting a new chat is the free way to switch. If a message fails, the retry offers the other model by name.
VOICE
Speak instead of type wherever a mic sits: the bank and manual notes, a project's context and knowledge, a goal, a milestone, a retirement reason. The transcript lands editable and never sends itself. Goals and milestones are condensed to a single line; notes and knowledge keep every word, because the record is the corpus.
HISTORY & CORRECTIONS
Every input ever, newest first, with each day's milestones inside it. ⌄ details on a row opens its note and link. Mislogged something? Log past work backfills today; Undo an input lists your recent entries. Removal is permanent, so it asks twice.
YOUR DATA IS YOURS
Under account: change your password, and export your whole ledger as a CSV, every date, time, duration, project, input, note, and link, yours to keep and take anywhere. The record is yours; the app is only where it lives.
EVERYWHERE AT ONCE
Your ledger lives in the cloud and syncs live: start a timer at the desk, watch it tick on your phone, bank anywhere. Add the app to your home screen for the full experience. The moon in the top corner trades dark for light.
That's the whole machine. The only feature that matters now is the next input.

GOAL
What every hour here answers to.
The project's north star. Every hour banked here is measured against it.
It locks once set. Changing it later means retiring it with a reason that joins the record.
A number, a deliverable, or both. What matters is that it names an outcome you could point at.
A goal never outlives its project. Name the next north star; it locks when you retire this one.
